On March 9th and 10th Grassfish had the pleasure of being part of this year’s Retail Digital Signage Expo (RDSE) in London, joint with the Retail Business Technology Expo and the Retail Design Expo. Our participation was in cooperation with – and courtesy of – Skratch, who, together with their ecosystem partners, had organized a wonderland of video walls, displays, sensory technology and retail-specific solutions. This cooperative approach also underlined the message that Skratch wanted to convey: Thanks to an extensive partner network it is not only possible to offer various innovative solutions, but these can also be implemented and deployed efficiently.
Grassfish had on display an array of possibilities based on the Grassfish Software, which were being shown on split-screen displays and two large video walls. One 2x2 screen wall featured sensory technology and a mobile website to enable users to trigger content in various ways. The other wall had a 3x3 screen set-up and showed different ways to use these nine available screens (full-sized display, screens split into four sections, all nine screens showing different content).
