Turning information into excitement
The third Grassfish Top Partner Event took place in the Schönbrunn Palace conference centre in Vienna on May 15 under this motto. Once again well attended by top decision-makers, the annual event and programme were universally well received.

Nearly half the participants came from abroad, underlining the event’s international, high-profile character,” Helmut Pfeiler, head of key account management at Grassfish, concludes. “It also demonstrates the quality of our long-standing cooperation with our international partners. Every year, their circle of participants grows as they include more and more departments for whom digital signage is an increasingly important source of revenue. The fact that ever more customers are also participating is an indicator of their trust in Grassfish as a partner, solution provider and driver of innovation.”
With over 50 international attendees including some of the most important Grassfish partners and customers, the event met the audience’s high expectations. A series of presentations and discussions on the latest innovations and trends inspired attendees, who also had plenty of opportunity to make new contacts which may soon lead to large, global roll-outs. In addition to the roadmap leading up to 2015, Grassfish presented some of the latest additions to its product portfolio and hands-on demos of mobile and interactive applications for tablets.
The event was opened by Roland Grassberger and Alexander Korte (CEO and CFO of Grassfish Marketing Technologies GmbH, respectively). Keynote speeches were held by the guest speakers Pierre Gillet (vice president of European sales at BrightSign) and Manfred Hubrig (sales director at DIDAS Business Services GmbH), followed by a presentation of current best practices by Helmut Pfeiler, head of key account management at Grassfish. Highlights included McFIT with its chain of 201 fitness studios across Europe, Commerzbank AG’s cutting edge pilot branches and the innovative solutions implemented for the flagship stores of the Belgian telecom provider Mobistar. The presentation also introduced the digital signage network implemented in the new campus of the Vienna University of Business and Economics as well as the I-Kiosk Services Solution developed together with Cisco Systems for Škoda Auto, a.s. (Porsche Inter Auto GmbH & Co KG). Guest speaker Florian Rotberg of invidis consulting GmbH provided a compact overview of current developments in the digital signage sector and their impact on business models. After the event, participants enjoyed a lavish dinner in the historical Cupola Hall in the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna’s museum of art history, with lively conversation and discussion of the day’s news and impulses lasting until late in the night.
