Digital Signage CMS

The award-winning Grassfish Digital Signage CMS makes child’s play of controlling a digital signage network. Experts adjust the flexible, high-performance configuration in the background. Users can easily drag films, websites and other digital content into folders and playlists by means of drag and drop and optionally define the playing rules. The rest takes place automatically. A comprehensive permission system as well as monitoring and reporting complete the package.

HTML Wizard Module

The HTML Wizard expands the Digital Signage CMS by an innovative content creation tool, enabling users to create content based on dynamic templates. In addition, the module allows complex interactive applications to be processed and, for example, adapted to local requirements. In this case, Grassfish does not use any proprietary solutions, but relies on standard HTML5 technology. As a result, any HTML developer is able to create templates and applications. What is more, the stable performance and platform independence of HTML leads to optimal graphical results. Templates can also be created quickly and easily without HTML knowledge using the integrated composer.

Advanced Media Management

Large organizations and multinational projects require more than just one Digital Signage CMS. To be able to act smoothly and efficiently, a collaboration tool is needed for content creation and management. Advanced Media Management meets these requirements precisely. Employees in different countries and on different organizational levels are able to collaborate via a network. Workflows and permissions control this collaboration with the involvement of agencies and right down to distributor level. Meta information defines the access and usage rights for media, while extensive search facilities simplify the management of the database. Included in addition are the version management, the archiving and the innovative variant management that supports the transparent localization of media and applications for different countries and languages.

Reporting Data Warehouse

The Grassfish modules collect comprehensive data on the usage of the systems, local playback, interactions on screens, tablets and sensors, notifications, error messages and many other aspects. This information merges in the Grassfish Reporting Data Warehouse and is available for individual evaluation. The Data Warehouse is configured so that the data is made available separately from the actual CMS and in a comprehensible structure. In addition to supplied reports, the customer can also create his own evaluations using standard tools. Export of the data to other IT systems is possible as well.
