The staff tablet is a powerful tool in modern retail environments that enables sales staff to work with customers in a dynamic way, accessing and visualising materials to support the sales process. Grassfish provides, among others, features for recalling product information and promotions, selecting media files and displaying them on in-store screens and retrieving useful data on customers and store performance. Clients can even integrate their own business-critical apps via special interfaces.

As part of wearables, the smartwatch is the ideal in-store notification tool, alerting sales staff whenever customers or colleagues need support. The Grassfish Staff Watch solution connects the smartwatch to the store’s information hub, automatically notifying staff members when there is a call to action.

Alerts can be triggered via sensors (e.g. a growing queue or someone pausing in front of a certain product signalling interest), systems (e.g. product error messages) or manually (a customer pressing a button).
