Of the existing 40 LET's DOIT locations in Austria, the first four have already been opened as omni-channel specialist tool stores, and the roll-out of the other stores is now planned. In concrete terms, projects and preparations are currently underway for eight locations, which are to be realised in the next 15 months. By 2025, a total of 25 LET's DOIT Store 4.0 are planned, which will also include these digital elements.
In the course of the project, the LET's DOIT umbrella brand underwent a comprehensive relaunch after fifteen years of being in the Austrian market and was expanded into an omni-channel concept. LET's DOIT thus became Austria's most modern specialist tool store, and for the first time a real interlocking of the stationary trade for tools and garden equipment with digital elements at the POS took place. On the one hand, the product range could be expanded many times over, and on the other hand, customers could be provided with a lot of detailed information about products and services digitally on site, in addition to the expert advice.
"The software solution from Grassfish, embedded in the Umdasch's Digital shopfitting concept, uses Syreta's webshop integration to precisely display the information that is relevant to the respective user," says 3e board member Markus Dulle, summing up the added value.
Through Grassfish Software, LET`s DOIT has achieved its goal of combining the advantages of the stationary specialized trade, such as the advisory competence or the haptic experience with the online world. The consumer is thus offered a completely new buying experience, which cannot be experienced in any other specialist tool store.
